Join us for the 5th Annual Italian Night, “Amore e Musica Sotto Le Stelle,” an evening established for having fun while raising funds for Italian student scholarships.
This year a wonderful Italian dinner buffet featuring such items as a garden salad, vodka rigatoni, chicken marsala, Italian meatballs in a red sauce, sausage and peppers, eggplant rollatine and broccoli in oil and garlic. In addition, water, soft drinks tea and coffee will be offered along with cannolis for dessert that will be sold by Italian students and Italian Club members. During dinner the “VIVACI” Italian Folk Dance group will perform authentic Italian dances from all parts of Italy, in addition to Nottingham students from the music department who will perform to entertain guests.
Once again, Joe Leone of Leone’s Italian Specialties in Point Pleasant & Sea Girt, NJ will donate over 200 Italian breads from different regions of Italy for students to sell in order to help them raise money for scholarships.
Musical entertainment and dancing will be provided by the well-known and popular vocalist, Russ Martone, performing some of the great standards by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Paul Anka, Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond, Elvis Presley and Michael Buble to name a few. In addition, the well-known DooWop singing group “The Nostalgix” specializing in 50’s & 60’s hit music will entertain and invite guests to dance along to the “oldies” songs.
Doors open at 6:00 PM with adult tickets reasonably priced at $30 per person and student tickets at $15 per person.
