The Sons of Italy New Jersey Foundation, announces its 10th Biennial Purple Aster Charity Ball. The event honors outstanding Italian Americans in New Jersey for their contributions to community service, charitable endeavors, successful business practices and dedication to creating a positive image of italians in America. This year’s celebration will honor two outstanding Italian Americans with the Golden Lion Award: Kevin F. Castagnola, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of South Jersey Port Corporation, and Joseph P. LaSala, Esq., Partner at the law firm of McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter LLP.

The Foundation is the charitable arm of the Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA) Grand Lodge of New Jersey. Proceeds from the ball will support the Foundation’s philanthropic activities.
