The Hon. Vincenzo Amendola, Undersecretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will arrive in New York on Monday, June 20, 2016 for official meetings at the United Nations. During his trip he has scheduled a visit to New Jersey to meet with the Italian American Community, accompanied by the Consul General of Italy in New York, Min. Plen. Francesco Genuardi and Deputy Consul General, Cons. Roberto Frangione.
During a prior visit to New York the Hon. Vincenzo Amendola – who is well versed in the enormous difficulties faced by our Community since the closure of the Vice Consulate of Italy in Newark – was most attentive to the requests posed to him by our community leaders and with great sensibility has asked to meet personally with the Italian American Community to hear first-hand of the problems and proposed solutions.
The invitation is open to Italian American Associations, as well as, Academic, Community and Business leaders.
