In 1996 the Federazione was formally recognized by the Vice Consulate of Italy in Newark as a non-profit organization and, as a 501©3 non-profit organization by the State of New Jersey. After many years of activity, during which it distinguished itself for the quality of its programs and its commitment to keeping alive the connection with Sicily, Italy, the Federation is willing to intensify its presence in the Sicilian and Italian communities with scholarships, sporting activities and cultural exchanges.
